IMO Warns: 400 Ships with 6,000 Sailors Stranded in Strait of Hormuz
After six months of the Middle East conflict, according to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), up to 400 ships with approximately 6,000 sailors are stranded in the Persian Gulf region and cannot safely depart. IMO Secretary-General Arsenio Dominguez warned that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz remains unresolved and thousands of sailors must live and work under critical conditions.
