Increase in Online Booking Fraud Reported in Cyprus
The Cyprus Consumer Association warns of a rise in fraud cases on online booking platforms. In just three to four days, approximately 15 complaints were registered in which fraudsters deceived travelers through fake bookings. The consumer group calls for caution when using such platforms and recommends taking preventive measures.
