Independent Social Support Authority to be Dissolved
The Cypriot Parliament has decided to dissolve the Independent Authority for Social Support, rejecting the government's proposal. Instead, a motion by the AKEL party was adopted, which provides for the transfer of tasks and assets to the Foundation for State Scholarships (ÍKY). This decision represents a structural reorganization of Cyprus's social support landscape.
