India Approves Electricity Exports to Nepal Following Devastating Floods
India has approved exporting electricity to Nepal for 18 hours daily until the end of December following a glacier disaster that destroyed approximately one-tenth of the Himalayan nation's power generation capacity. The flood wave claimed nearly 1,400 lives.
