India Prohibits Indian Seafarers from Operating on Hormuz Routes
India has instructed shipping companies, ship management companies, and personnel recruitment agencies not to deploy Indian seafarers on vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. This comes in light of renewed fighting in the region. India is the third-largest supplier of seafarers worldwide with over 300,000 seafarers in international fleets.
