Indo-European Language Family Largest Worldwide
The Indo-European language family is the largest among approximately 140 language families in the world, in which around 7,000 languages are spoken today. The five largest language families are Indo-European, Sino-Tibetan, Niger-Congo, Afroasiatic, and Austronesian, each used by large population groups on Earth.
