Inflation in Cyprus rises to 5.2% – second-highest in eurozone
Annual inflation in Cyprus rose to 5.2% in August 2026, compared to 4.4% in July, according to Eurostat. On a monthly basis, prices rose by 1.5%. Cyprus thus records the second-highest inflation rate in the eurozone, exceeded only by Lithuania. This development has significant impacts on citizens' cost of living.
