Inflation Rises to 1.5% After One Month of Middle East War
One month of war in the Middle East was enough to increase annual inflation in Cyprus and the EU in March, as the first impact of rising energy prices. The harmonized consumer price index in Cyprus rose from 0.9% in February to 1.5% in March. This is the first wave of new inflation following increased energy costs.
