Insurance premiums for drivers over 70: Increase only with proven risk
The Parliamentary Human Rights Committee discussed the amendment to the Motor Vehicle Act regarding liability insurance that was rejected by the President. Attorney General Elli Florentzou explained that insurance companies may only increase premiums for drivers over 70 if they can prove increased risk - not based on age alone.
