Interest of Foreign Energy Companies in Gas Exploration in Cypriot EEZ
President Christodoulidis reported again that foreign energy companies are showing interest in licenses for exploration in unallocated maritime areas of the Cypriot Exclusive Economic Zone. The companies are searching for natural gas deposits in these areas. The President was asked whether a new licensing cycle is planned in the near term.
