Interior Minister Rejects Underfunding Allegations
Interior Minister Constantinos Ioannou rejected claims that the government is pushing municipalities into financial difficulties and announced that state funding will increase to 156 million euros by 2027. He responded to a three-hour work stoppage by the Union of Cyprus Municipalities.
