Interior Ministry: state subsidies for municipalities do not burden citizens
Cyprus's Interior Ministry has responded to yesterday's rejection of government proposals by the Municipal Federation. The ministry underscores that the 117 million euros in annual state subsidies, as stipulated in the Municipal Law of 2022, have already been included in the budget and are not being passed on to citizens.
