Investigation Against OpenAI Over ChatGPT Murder in Florida
The Florida Attorney General ordered a criminal investigation against OpenAI and ChatGPT to investigate whether the AI application provided guidance for a murder in which two people were killed and six injured. Attorney General James Uthmeier stated that prosecutors have analyzed recorded conversations between ChatGPT and perpetrator Phoenix. The official noted that he would have brought murder charges if it had been a person.
