Investigations Against Officials After Cocaine Theft in Fiji Court
Authorities on the Fiji Islands are investigating an unprecedented case of evidence tampering: almost 39 kilograms of cocaine worth up to 31 million dollars, which had been seized in a major drug trafficking case, was replaced with flour in a courthouse. The investigation is focusing on clarifying how the high-value drug was stolen from a court building and swapped with a harmless substitute material.
