Iran: Military Leadership Changes Announced
Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, announced changes in the leadership structure of the Iranian armed forces. Vice Admiral Ali Abdollahi assumes the position of chief of staff of the Iranian armed forces, succeeding his predecessor. He previously headed the coordination center for military operations.
