Iran threatens to block Red Sea and demands war reparations
Iran estimates its war damages at approximately 270 billion dollars and is demanding reparations from neighboring countries that it believes were involved in attacks. At the same time, the country threatens to block the Red Sea should the USA maintain its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and Iranian ports. Iran signals that such action would constitute a breach of the ceasefire.
