Iranian Tanker Hit by U.S. Attack Near Kharg Island
An Iranian tanker was struck by U.S. forces near Kharg Island, Iran's most important oil export center in the Persian Gulf, according to the semi-official news agency Tasnim. According to local reports, the tanker was damaged by four U.S. missiles in the anchorage zone at Kharg Island.
