Iraq Ready to Increase Oil Production
Iraq declares itself ready to increase crude oil production to 3.4 million barrels daily within a week if the war with Iran ends and shipping through the Strait of Hormuz is restored. According to the head of the state Basra Oil Company, production has declined significantly due to the conflict.
