Irishman runs barefoot around the world – new record set
Irishman Éamonn Keevy completed an unprecedented barefoot journey and set a new world record for the longest distance traveled without shoes. Keevy began his journey in Istanbul and took 369 days to return to Ireland. He covered a total of 6,805 kilometers and suffered from severe blisters and foot injuries from the continuous strain.
