Israel and Lebanon Agree on Ten-Day Ceasefire
Israel and Lebanon have agreed on a ten-day ceasefire that came into effect on April 16 at midnight. Displaced Lebanese have since returned to their homes to check whether their houses remain intact, although many have concerns that the ceasefire could be fragile. Cyprus's Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos welcomed the agreement and emphasized the importance of full compliance with the agreement by the United States.
