Israel and Lebanon approach power transfer in South Lebanon
Israel and Lebanon held a new round of negotiations in Rome and are making progress in planning a pilot project in which parts of South Lebanon would be transferred from Israeli forces to the Lebanese army. The talks show progress in creating a mechanism for Israeli withdrawal.
