Israel Announces Destruction of All Lebanese Border Houses
Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz has announced the destruction of all houses in Lebanese villages near the border. 600,000 people who fled from southern Lebanon will not be allowed to return until northern Israel is secure. Israel plans to establish a buffer zone in southern Lebanon and threatens Gaza-like destruction in the region.
