Israel Deploys Iron Dome System for First Time After Iran Ceasefire
The Israeli military activated its Iron Dome air defense system on Sunday for the first time following the ceasefire with Iran. The system was deployed to intercept fragments of an Iranian ballistic missile that had been fired at Jordan and struck near the Israeli border. The main warhead of the missile had been previously shot down by the American Aegis air defense system.
