Israel plans construction of 2,167 housing units in settlement area E1
Israel has added a tender for 2,167 housing units to the E1 settlement expansion project, according to Israeli human rights groups. The project would cut through the Israeli-occupied West Bank and separate it from East Jerusalem, which would worsen the territorial fragmentation of future Palestinian territories.
