Italian Court: Netflix Price Increases Unlawful
A Rome court has ruled that Netflix's price increases in Italy between 2017 and 2024 were illegal, following a lawsuit filed by consumer protection organization Movimento Consumatori. The court classified the contract terms that allowed Netflix to impose unilateral increases as unfair and invalid. Netflix subscribers could now receive refunds of up to 500 euros.
