Italy Presents Ancient Etruscan Paintings for 17 Million Dollars
Italy has acquired rare frescoes from an Etruscan tomb for 17 million dollars and made them publicly accessible. The wall paintings from the François tomb from ancient Vulci are now displayed at the National Etruscan Museum Villa Giulia in Rome. The Ministry of Culture announced the acquisition in May.
