Japanese yen falls to 40-year low
The Japanese yen fell to a 40-year low against the dollar on Tuesday, trading at levels last seen in 1986. The weakness of the yen to approximately 162.41 yen per dollar fuels expectations of a possible intervention by Japanese authorities in the foreign exchange market.
