Johnson & Johnson pays 5.5 billion dollars to settle talcum powder lawsuits
Johnson & Johnson announced an agreement to pay approximately 5.5 billion dollars to settle tens of thousands of lawsuits out of court, in which it is claimed that baby powder and other talc-containing products cause ovarian cancer. This landmark settlement is intended to end years of legal disputes that have burdened the company.
