Jordanian Reef Added to UNESCO World Heritage List
The Aqaba Marine Protected Area in Jordan has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The recognition was confirmed by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) and honors the ecological significance of this marine protected area in the Red Sea.
