July Was Not a Record Heat Month Despite Heat Wave
According to Cyprus's meteorological service, July was overall moderate, although temperatures in Nicosia exceeded 43°C on eleven days. The highest recorded temperature was 43.2°C at the Athalassa measuring station in Nicosia on July 23. The service denied that it was a record month.
