Justice Minister Warns of Constitutional Crisis Through Power Restrictions
Attorney General George Savvides announced before the parliamentary justice committee that the planned reform of his office could be subject to a constitutional challenge once the new prosecutor's office begins its work. He warned that four of seven constitutional experts had already raised concerns about the reform and its implementation could potentially lead to the collapse of the new institutions.
