Karpasia: Wild Donkeys Being Captured and Housed
Authorities in Northern Cyprus have begun the implementation phase of a management program for the free-roaming donkeys of the Karpasia Peninsula. The program, coordinated by a wildlife research institute, involves capturing donkeys outside of fenced areas, microchipping them, and transporting them to specialized facilities. The project aims to control the wild donkey population and house the animals in enclosures.
