Kazakos puts shipping freedom in Washington's focus
Thomas Kazakos, Secretary-General of the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), emphasized the importance of shipping freedom and a predictable global regulatory framework in talks in Washington. An ICS delegation met with senior U.S. officials on issues of trade, maritime policy, and decarbonization. Kazakos' delegation was led by Kenneth Lam, Chair of the ICS Shipping Policy Committee.
