Keiko Fujimori wins controversial Peruvian presidential election narrowly
Right-wing candidate Keiko Fujimori was officially declared winner of the Peruvian presidential election three weeks after the vote. She received 50.13% of votes compared to 49.86% for her opponent Roberto Sánchez with a minimal margin of just 0.27 percentage points. Sánchez refuses to recognize the result.
