Kitchen Fire in Private Home Triggers Fire Department Response
A fire in the kitchen of a two-story private house on the road between Akáki and Menoyko broke out on Saturday evening and caused a major fire department operation. The fire started in a kitchen unit and was extinguished by firefighters from Nicosia. Kitchen fixtures and further furnishings were damaged by flames and smoke.
