Kronos Gas Field: Cyprus Reaches Milestone in Natural Gas Extraction
The Kronos gas field in Block 6 of Cyprus's economic zone has been approved for development. Energy Minister Michael Damianos described the final investment decision by the Eni and TotalEnergies consortiums as a "historic milestone" for Cyprus, as the country is entering commercial exploitation of its offshore gas reserves for the first time.
