Labor costs in Cyprus rise 3.8% year-on-year
Total hourly labor costs in Cyprus increased by 3.8 percent in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the previous year's quarter, according to preliminary data from the Statistical Authority. Wages and salaries per work hour increased by 3.9 percent, while non-wage costs rose by 3.6 percent. This development reflects the general wage development in the Cypriot economy.
