Labor exploitation of migrants in Cyprus hotels difficult to prove
The labor exploitation of foreign workers in hotels and leisure facilities in Cyprus was discussed at a conference by the organization "Step Up Stop Slavery" on July 30, 2026 in Nicosia. The European project HOST addresses the problem, particularly affecting the most vulnerable groups of the migrant population. The situation is difficult to assess but easy to conceal.
