Labor Ministry Imposes €25,000 in Fines Against Employers
The Labor Ministry's inspectors discovered four unregistered workers in the education sector and nine in retail, and imposed fines totaling €25,000. During inspections of 63 education sector facilities, 40 employers and 23 self-employed individuals were checked among a total of 211 workers (25 men and 186 women). The inspections demonstrate ongoing efforts to combat undeclared work.
