Laiki Bank depositors promised additional compensation
Former Laiki Bank depositors who lost their savings during the 2013 financial crisis have been promised additional compensation in 2026. The Laiki Bank Depositors Association (Sykala) announced that President Nikos Christodoulides had called the association to announce the planned payout. However, no specific amounts, percentages, or conditions have yet been disclosed.
