Large-scale police operations against drug crime and theft
The Cypriot police conducted comprehensive organized patrol operations throughout the night to prevent serious crimes. Eight persons were arrested for drug possession, illegal residence, burglaries and theft. Additionally, the police seized 19 vehicles and checked 545 vehicles with 756 drivers and passengers, resulting in 266 warnings being issued.
