Large-Scale Raid Against Untaxed Tobacco Products in Cyprus
Police and customs authorities conducted coordinated raids in Ayia Napa, Paphos, and Nicosia and seized large quantities of untaxed tobacco products. Two people were arrested; a 47-year-old man in Paphos agreed to pay a fine of 4,000 euros. The operations took place on August 26 and 28.
