Largest Pension Reform Since 1980 Unveiled
President Nikos Christodoulides described the pension reform framework presented to social partners on Wednesday as the largest and most comprehensive reform of the pension system since 1980. The proposed reform aims to strengthen justice, adequacy, and security for every generation and is based on two "non-negotiable principles": more dignified pensions and long-term sustainability of the system. The reform is currently being discussed with social partners.
