Larnaca: Over 500 Dilapidated Buildings, Authority Requests Financial Support
There are more than 500 dilapidated buildings in Larnaca city and district, according to Angelos Chatzicharalampos, chairman of the regional authority. The dangerous buildings are located in neighborhoods such as Agi Giannis and the Turkish-Cypriot community as well as in other districts and Leukara. The authority lacks financial resources for quick action and is calling for changes to legislation.
