Larnaca Port Dispute Escalates - Minister Blocks Port Authority
The conflict over the future of the port and the marine project in Larnaca escalated on Wednesday after Transport Minister Alexis Vafeades prevented the Port Authority (CPA) from submitting development proposals. Larnaca Mayor Andreas Vyras was directly informed by Vafeades that the port authority is not authorized to submit proposals to local stakeholders.
