Law to Legalize Illegal Wells Planned
Cyprus's water authority is seeking retroactive legalization of wells that have been operating for years without water use permits. The amendment to the Integrated Water Management Act was discussed on Tuesday in Parliament's agricultural committee and follows pressure from the European Commission regarding Cyprus's water control system.
