Lefkara: Hundreds of deteriorating buildings endanger cityscape
The mayor of Lefkara reports that hundreds of buildings in the city, including those under heritage protection, are in poor condition and pose a danger. Most of these buildings are owned by Turkish Cypriots or have been abandoned by owners living abroad. Despite years of efforts by the municipality, the problems have not been resolved.
