Legendary bicycle manufacturer Raleigh files for insolvency
The well-known British bicycle company Raleigh, manufacturer of the legendary Chopper bicycle from the 1970s and 1980s, has initiated insolvency proceedings. The Dutch parent company Accell was unable to find a buyer and could not secure a sustainable solution to continue operations.
