Legislative Proposals for Electronic Contracts Under Discussion
The political movement ALMA submitted two legislative proposals on contract law to parliament to modernize Cyprus in digital business transactions. The party criticizes that the current legal framework is based on an 1872 law and is no longer sufficient to support multi-billion-euro transactions. The proposals are intended to be updated for electronic transactions in 2026.
