Limassol Calls for Measures Against Marine Pollution
Following a broad meeting in Limassol, additional measures were agreed upon to strengthen inspections and improve response to marine pollution. Deputy Shipping Minister Marina Hadjimanolis assured that Cyprus's waters are clean, but acknowledged that there is room for improvement. The discussion was prompted by residents' complaints about foam, unpleasant odors, and unknown substances.
